1. Assertive is words that commit a speaker to the truth of expressed propositions.
2. Directive is words that cause the hearer to take a particular action.
3. Commissive is words that commit a speaker to some future actions.
4. Expressive is words that express a speaker’s attitudes and emotions towards the proposition.
5. Declaration is words that change the reality in accord with the proposition of declaration.
